Every Visa Platinum cardholder issued by ProCredit Bank, together with their family members*, benefits from an optional health insurance program during travel outside the Republic of Moldova, in accordance with the Insurance Conditions, which cover essential costs and guarantee support in case of health emergencies.

*Family members - persons who travel outside the Republic of Moldova together with the cardholder (husband, wife, children, dependent children, stepchildren, legally adopted children of the cardholder), who are unmarried, who live with the cardholder or live at another address during full-time studies and who travel with the cardholder, aged under 21 (or 24 if full-time students).

Covered Risks:

  • Sudden, acute illnesses
  • Accidents resulting in the Insured’s death or bodily injuries requiring medical care

Based on the optional health insurance for the travel period, the insured individuals include Visa Platinum cardholders issued by ProCredit Bank and the beneficiaries listed in the insurance beneficiaries list (family members).

How you can request the optional health insurance for international travel:

Submit the optional health insurance application for the Visa Platinum cardholder for the travel period, including family members upon their request, through the following channels:

  • In paper form, at the Central Office (Chișinău, bd. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt 65, office 901), with prior appointment, at phone number 0800 000 10
  • In paper form, at ProCredit Bank Moldova branches (see addresses), with prior appointment, at phone number 0800 000 10
  • Online, download the application HERE. After completing and electronically signing it, submit the application to mda.asig@procredit-group.com

The optional health insurance is valid for 90 cumulative days within a 365-calendar-day period in the territory of the European Union, CIS states, Turkey and Georgia. Starting from the 91st day of travel, the optional health insurance is no longer valid.

IMPORTANT:

To benefit from the optional health insurance, the Visa Platinum cardholder issued by ProCredit Bank must make travel payments exclusively with this card, for example: purchasing plane/train/bus tickets or ferry tickets crossing international borders (which demonstrate clear travel plans), buying a vignette, confirming reservations at hotels/rented apartments through Booking.com/Airbnb.com or similar platforms for accommodation abroad, paying for tourist visas or consular fees, renting cars etc.
